About the Role
We are a fast-growing, cross-border AI startup. As we scale our enterprise customer base and expand our teams across Israel (R&D/Product) and the US (Sales/GTM), the complexity of running the business has outgrown our current infrastructure.
We are looking for a hands-on, highly analytical VP of Operations to act as the operational backbone of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of everything outside of core R&D and Revenue generation. Your mandate is simple: remove operational friction from the founders, manage our global vendors and administrative team, and build the scalable processes we need to double in size.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Partner to the Founders: Act as the trusted right-hand and sounding board to the CEO and founding team. You will take our high-level strategic vision and translate it into operational reality, proactively identifying organizational blind spots before they become bottlenecks.
- Global Operating Rhythm & Compliance: Own the company’s alignment frameworks across our IL and US sites. You will drive the OKR planning cycles, executive offsites, and management cadences. Additionally, you will partner with R&D to drive our internal compliance and audit readiness (e.g., SOC 2), ensuring Lema practices the elite risk management we preach.
- Finance & Legal Operations: Serve as the primary owner of our external legal counsel and take interim leadership of our finance function until a dedicated VP of Finance is hired. You will manage our outsourced accounting firm, oversee the global budget and payroll across IL/US, and handle the commercial contract pipeline (NDAs, DPAs, vendor agreements) to keep deals moving fast.
- People & Talent Operations: Manage our internal recruiting efforts and lead our global talent strategy. You will mature our existing people operations to seamlessly support our rapid scaling, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle - from talent acquisition and onboarding to retention, development, and culture.
- Global Site Leadership: Act as the General Manager for both our Tel Aviv headquarters and our US office. You will directly manage our IL Operations Manager and oversee day-to-day office operations, procurement, software tooling (SaaS stack consolidation), and physical site security across all company locations.
